Here, frozen for eternity
on a transparency in the
back of my medium-format
camera is the majestic, unspoiled
Snowy Range near Centennial
and Lake Marie, fed by melting
snow even in August. It’s
not uncommon to see skiers
descending the snowfields
in the distance in the Summertime.
This print is a favorite
among the locals who come
into our gallery.
