Anti-reflect, non-glare or archival glass is available at extra charge A) Non-glare
glass* For large Non-glare glass - add $30.00 to regular prices. On medium photographs add $15.00 for non-glare. B) Anti-reflective glass This is much more effective than non-glare glass - it actually reduces reflections off the glass from 8% to about 1% by means of special coatings. It's amazing how much better your special photograph will look with AR glass! For Large anti-reflect glass - add $50.00 to regular prices. On medium photographs, add $30.00 for anti-reflect. C) Archival Glass* For large archival glass - add $100.00 to regular prices. On medium photographs add $60.00 for archival glass. D) Museum Glass This is a combination of anti-reflect and archival glass: it stops reflections AND UV light. It's the ultimate for appearance and preservation! For large museum glass - add $150.00 to regular prices. On medium photographs - add $80.00 for museum glass. Other hints to preserve your valuable photographs: Never place your valuable photographs in direct sunlight. If you do, they will fade rather quickly! For longest life, illuminate your works of art with lighting whith has as little UV light as possible (consult your local lighting contractor for recommendations. Fluorescent lighting has considerable UV content, for instance.) Do not hang your photographs in extremely humid areas such as bathrooms. Also avoid rooms with extreme temperature or humidity variations. *Non-glare or archival glass may add up to two weeks to delivery time. |
