“Eye of the Needle”

This is my favorite place on earth - This beautiful cliff sits astride the Colorado / Wyoming border south of Laramie. Here you see a picture of Camel Rock (see the camel, facing left?) peeking through the crack in the cliffs. Amazing how these two sheer walls parallel each other so well, isn't it? Camel Rock is more commonly known as Chimney Rock.

My grandparents homesteaded the ranch just a half mile up the road in 1932 after having their 4500 acres just South of here foreclosed by family members during the great depression. Land in this general vicinity has been in my family since 1880, when my ancestors (the Wurls and the Lundquists) came here from Prussia and Sweden.

So here you see a camel going through the eye of a needle (Matt. 19:24). It’s difficult, but not impossible!

Why not order this Chimney Rock picture to give a bright, airy atmosphere to your home and office. Colorado photography - the next best thing to living there! Click the buttons below the photo for ordering information.
